SOUL Care Gatherings

We are pleased to welcome back Joe Chambers, along with Jeremy Frye (bios below the registration form), for another series of Soul Care gatherings! We will be hosting multiple opportunities for you to join us in-person or virtually throughout the region for a meal and teaching/conversation revolving around Soul Care. (What is Soul Care? Soul Care is a holistic approach to being an empathetic witness to what God is doing in the deep places of a person's heart.)

Joe and Jeremy will be tailoring their specific topics based on who is attending each meeting (so you won't be hearing the same material repeated from prior times).   They will be available for Q&A as well as individual time with participants as time allows.

Times/Locations:

REGISTER NOW - space is limited. This event is for couples, but is also open to individuals if your spouse is unable to join you. If you would like to join us online please complete the registration and choose that option, so we can get you the link to join.

  • Jeremy Frye

After serving for twenty years in full time pastoral ministry, Jeremy Frye now serves as the Director of Sacred Community for Anam Cara; a ministry dedicated to the practice of soul friendship, coming alongside one another in order to facilitate healing, wholeness, holiness, and spiritual formation. He is responsible for the development and leadership of The Anam Cara Abbey; a virtual community of soul friends spread across the globe. Jeremy facilitates the Peregrini program with Anam Cara as well, which is a community of spiritual directors who share the heart and vision of Anam Cara. In addition, he provides spiritual direction both online and in person from his home in Nashville and co-leads soul care retreats for pastors and ministry leaders and their spouses. Following his time at Ozark Christian College where he received a certificate in Bible knowledge, Jeremy earned his bachelor’s in Christian Leadership from Colorado Christian University and is a graduate of the Soul Care Institute where he received a certificate in Soul Care from SCI and Fuller Seminary. He began his college career by earning an associates degree in theatre and music, two subjects for which he has a deep love to this day.

Jeremy and his wife Rachael have been married for nearly sixteen years and have two children; nine year old Katie and four year old Wesley. It is with much affection that he would tell you that his children are a little feral and could regale you with hours of stories about their antics. In addition to being an incredible wife and mother, Rachael served as a children’s minister for 15 years and is nearing the completion of her time as a student at the Transforming Center with Ruth Haley Barton in Chicago. Jeremy and his family reside at An Téarmann (Gaelic for the refuge), the name of their little urban homestead in East Nashville, Tennessee.
